Forum URL: wieisdemol-spinoff.freeforums.net/
I think the plugin is from Brian, not sure...
First: I just installed the plugin, and it is just what I needed.
Second: I do have a remark: if you use the audio tag, the text put after the tag is disappeasing. Like: (I removed the [ ] so you can follow ) The TEXT BELOW is gone... Is there a way to fix this?
So now for real:
TEXT ABOVE

The forum is set private, so an approval to be a member is required. So, I don't know if you are able to see posts? But, let's try: wieisdemol-spinoff.freeforums.net/post/19719Still, in case you can't access, here's a small screen capture: Let me know if you need more information.

The audio tag requires an ending tag since it can contain other tags and phrases. Browsers don't all support the same file types and audio codecs; you can provide multiple sources inside nested <source> elements, and the browser will then use the first one it understands: Without that ending, it will eat everything until it encounters a tag that causes it to finally auto-close.
The BBCode version only provides the basic src uasge since, as far as I know, there is no [source][/source] or [track][/track] BBCode equivalent, but that ending [/audio] tag is still required. Use it as [audio src="https://inception.davepedu.com/inception.mp3"]Your browser sux dood[/audio] and not as [audio src="https://inception.davepedu.com/inception.mp3"]

ChrisGreat!! Seems indeed to work: Still, the code behind the button to add the audio-tag, needs to cover this...

Chris Great!! Seems indeed to work: Still, the code behind the button to add the audio-tag, needs to cover this... If the plugin was editable (had a build button), I could tell you to add the necessary closing tag to line #48 (preview tab) and line #62 (BBCode tab), but unfortunately, it is not. You are correct that Brian posted the plugin [ here] so only he can edit and repost although I've seen at least one instance where the original plugin file was attached to another post making it difficult to maintain version control (which is why I use dropbox) You can use the instructions posted here ( support.proboards.com/post/7077756/thread), but be warned that I did not personally test them, and the absence of any feedback after extended use means they are basically untested.

Thanks for having a look. I search as well if the plugin is editable, but indeed it isn't...
I've read the link to the other thread, didn't performed the actions yet. But as far as I understand, this is code for the Quick Reply buttons, not for the full Reply? Right?

That plugin can create buttons for all three editors (quick reply, BBCode and Preview)

I've tried the suggestion in the other thread. Made it work to have another button for the audio that is working fine now. BUT, if I disable the original plugin for the audio, with the new button the sound bar isn't showed anymore. Only when I enable the original plugin for the audio, the sound bar is shown. And if I enable it, I do have now 2 audio buttons now

Here you see what is happening: I've tried to enable it, but hide it, but even then the audio bar is disappearing... My settings:

Just verifying that you added the accompanying script
"I added that code to my header and it works great, now I want to set up a button..."
there's a similar script in the plugin allowing the soundbar to be created on page load so if you did not install the script then you would need the script inside the plugin to get it working.

Ow yes! I saw the script, but I didn't thought about it now. So, I've added it in here: Admin Home> Structure> Headers & Footers > Global Header & Footer And now it is working! The audio bar is shown, even with the first plugin disabled. Also only 1 button is shown now - mine. Thanks again for the great support Chris !!!
